Gary Toor, a seasoned truck driver with a passion for transportation and a vision for something greater, decided to take the leap and create his own trucking business. With just a single used truck and a whole lot of determination, he set out to establish what would later become known as “CFX”
Starting with a modest budget, CFX faced several challenges and uncertainties, as the transportation industry can be highly competitive and demanding. However, his unwavering commitment and strong work ethic drove him forward. He knew that providing exceptional service and maintaining an impeccable reputation would be the key to success.
In the intial months
CFX team’s dedication was noticed by clients, and word-of-mouth referrals slowly started to pour in. The company’s reputation for punctuality, reliability, and personalized customer service began to spread, setting them apart from larger competitors.
As the company gained traction, CFX decided to expand the fleet by investing in a few more trucks/trailers and hiring a small team of reliable drivers and support staff.
Then shortly thereafter created an inhouse truck brokerage (Certified Freight Xpress). The family-like work culture and emphasis on treating employees with respect and fairness helped foster a strong sense of loyalty among the team members.
Over the years, CFX continued to grow steadily, acquiring more contracts and building long-term partnerships with businesses across various industries. CFX team’s commitment to embracing technological advancements and maintaining the highest safety standards allowed the company to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the transportation sector.
By 2009, the company had
outgrown its humble beginnings, and a small yard was established to streamline operations and manage the expanding fleet efficiently.
